John Crane are looking for a skilled engineer that can help us provide design and technical support for both Customers as well as the internal and external sales.  If you are an experienced engineer with a service mindset we are looking forward to receive your application.

 

Responsibillities:

• First point technical contact for John Crane Norway

• Create technical package for bids on wet seals, systems and filtration

• Review customer technical specification to secure compliance

• Technical support Sales Engineers on sales activities at customers

• Offshore and onshore service visits to identify upgrades/retrofits as required

• Prepare technical package for upgrade opportunities on turbo equipment

• Develop local work flow practices in own work area

Education/experience:

• Bachelor or Masters degree in mechanical discipline

• Experience from hands on work on mechanical seals

• Experience from rotating equipment

• SAP Experience

 

Personal qualities:

• Great approach to problem solving.

• Great human relations and customer service skills.

• Excellent communication and cooperation skills

• You speak and write English fluently

• Structured and pro-active
